un-preconditioned response to create the right solution for each individual situation. We like to create beautiful buildings and inspirational spaces designed to thrill and empower, spaces that people truly enjoy being in – to work, interact, live and relax.
James Wells and Sally Mackereth set up Wells Mackereth in 1995. Since then, the practice has created some of London's best known spaces, including Smiths of Smithfield, West Street bar, restaurant and hotel, Korres, Triyoga, Pringle of Scotland and Stone Island/ CP Company.
By summer 2007, more than 100 projects have been completed with an aggregate certified value of nearly £30M, while ongoing live projects run to a contract value in excess of £35M.
